The MTMN-Minnesota Therapeutic Massage Network/Minnesota Touch Movement Network was formed in 1981 by massage therapists seeking networking support and means of exploring educational options, the MTMN is the oldest organization of its type in the state. Comprised of practitioners with a wide variety of modality training, the network is clearly not limited to massage therapists. The members are trained or certified and often are instructors in one or more of the practices of: Ortho-Bionomy®, Reflexology, Jin Shin Jyutsu®, Reiki, Jin Shin Do, Rosen Method, Trigger Point Therapy, Esalen, Shiatsu, NLP - NeuroLinguistic Programming®, EMK-Electro Magnetic Kinesiology, Lomi Lomi, Lymphatic Drainage, Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Therapy, Orthopedic Massage, Feldenkrais Method®, PNF - Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation, Connective Tissue Therapy and MORE.
